I admit it...I have a certain style of stamp images that I like when it comes to making cards. There are certain stamps I love, certain stamps I like and then there are stamps I don't care for. Two step stamp images have never been a favorite of mine, but my thinking has changed. I recently purchased a retired set of two-step flowers titled Heartfelt Thanks and decided to try them out on a card. I absolutely love the watercolor look and they are now on my 'love' list. The card below is made entirely of Stampin' Up! images with a pretty blue card stock I found at Michaels.

I love writing letters and when I come across a pretty stationery or note card set, I buy it. Recently I came across some pretty teacup note cards at a yard sale and I immediately grabbed it. It had a white center panel and of course my first thought was...'Ohhhh, I can stamp something there', and so I did just that. I needed a little note card to send to a friend who was going through a rough time, so made the card below. The floral vine is an image from Stampin' Up! and the sentiment is from Verve.

I've been making several cards this week using my newest Deer Trio die from Memory Box. Below is a Thinking of You card I made this morning.
I started with a white A-2 panel card. I computer-generated the message at the top and bottom. I then stamped a snowy woods scene (Hero Arts) on white in black ink. I backed the image with a black layer that has been spattered with white watercolor. After attaching the image to the center of the card I added my three die cut deer using pop dots to give the image dimension.
