Here it is the last week of 2016 and I wanted to make a card for my cousin, whose birthday is this week. She's a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, so of course I had to use a Stampin' Up! image and decorator paper.
The card is a little larger than an A-2 card and I began with the image which I stamped with embossing ink and embossed with white powder. I then sponged a light blue ink on the embossed image and wiped the embossed area with a tissue to remove the ink on that part of the image. I used some blue decorative paper (SU) for the background, punched a white piece of card stock for the left side of the card and made a birthday greeting for the bottom. It needed one more touch, so I added a little metal butterfly to give it balance.
